Johor Bahru Chinese Heritage Museum
The Chinese Heritage Museum is located in a 4-storey shoplot which was previously occupied by the Tiong Hua Association, along Jalan Ibrahim. Manuscripts, artifacts, information and images are displayed through the 4 levels of the building which deliver a visual picture of the experience of the Chinese community through the different periods in the Johor history namely –colonial period, Japanese invasion, communist insurgency and independence era. Here, you can find out how the Chinese migrated here and what they did up to what they have achieved in this once foreign land. Things that are left behind and culture that has been passed down remains to tell the story to the younger generations.
