Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple

Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple is a must see tourist destination and pilgrimage attraction. It is one of the oldest Hindu temple in Johor Bahru and was listed in the Malaysian Book of Records as the first and only glass temple in Malaysia in 2010. The temple got its name, the Glass Temple from the embellishment of a mosaic of 300,000 pieces of red, green, purple, yellow, blue and white glasses which covers almost 90 percent of the temple. Lights from the crystal chandeliers are reflected by the glasses which makes it a magnificent observation. There are 10 gold sculptures depicting the cycle of life and 10 white marble statues of Gautama Buddha, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Sai Baba and Mother Teresa.
