Mee Rebus Hj Wahid
Haji Wahid’s Mee Rebus, one of the most popular in Johor, has a long, illustrious history.Haji Wahid family started this business since 1918. It started in the last three generations ago from Basid Ali Karam Ali-Wak Baidali that sells mee rebus everyday.
His son Haji Wahid took over the business in 1938. (That’s why Haji Wahid’s mee rebus is also known as Baidali mee rebus.) Today, Haji Wahid’s mee rebus has several branches in JB (and Putrajaya) run by the descendants of Wak Baidali.
Seven of 12 children and two of his grandchildren continue this business in the Taman Rinting, Larkin Food Market Court, Kampung Melayu and near Kolam Air mosque. There were several branch outside Johor that been running up by the sons of Haji Wahid in different places such as in Precinct 9, Putrajaya is under management of Zainal, at Section 24 Shah Alam by Yassin, who previously trading at Tepian Tebrau, JB, and in Sri Hartamas Nasir initiated by the former trade at the City Complex, Johor Bahru.
