Maxwell Hill

Bukit Larut is Malaysia's oldest hill station and founded in 1884. It's located just ten kilometers from quiet Taiping in Perak. Formerly it was called Maxwell Hill. Maxwell Hill is approximately 1250m above sea level. It is located in the wettest part of the country and this hill station experiences the highest rainfall in the country. The hill is riddled with groves of evergreens and vibrantly colorful flora and fauna.
How To Get Here :
On the North-South Highway, take the Taiping exit out of the highway. Follow the signs to Taiping after the toll and from Taiping town head towards the lake gardens. There are signs showing the way to Maxwell Hill or Bukit Larut
