Taman Merdeka Johor Bahru
Taman Merdeka is a recreational park that is established to commemorate the nation’s struggle to achieve independence. There are 9 lawns each depicting a different phase in the history of the fight for independence. Taman Merdeka is an ideal place for morning strolls or jogs, swimming, rock climbing and other community group exercise. Here, big and shady trees are planted to provide refreshing cool air. Parking is ample and free of charge. Scheduled group exercise such as aerobics and Tai Chi are held in the park too.
